A month ago i got a monstera albo wetstick with a very long root. I put it in moss and cover it with plastic wrap and poked wholes in the plastic wrap for airflow. Today I discovered that the wetstick smelled weird and the root has rotted. I removed the dead root and inside the root was a small yellowish root. Its very firm and not mushy like the rotted root I removed. Now my question is: Can I save this wetstick? And why did it rot? I assume it has to do with the high temperature because of the heatwave here in Germany (up to 30C) but I am uncertein. Pls help
