    πŸ™ that is the plant tissue dieing from rot. Likely the roots have died and the rot is spreading through the plant. You could try to cut it with a sanitized knife but if it’s hit the core it may be too late. Sorry, that is a nice one. You could try grafting, there should be enough good material for that.

    In the future, unless you are somewhere very hot, that soil is much too organic. You’ll want something with a lot of gritty rocks and little organics
