Gardening in containers can be difficult over the summer. Use these guidelines to help you be successful.
• Move containers to areas of your yard that receive afternoon shade naturally.
• Group containers and grow bags close together for an insulating effect.
• As temperatures heat up, monitoring containers closely and watering often is crucial. You may have to water every day. If you’re not sure, use a moisture meter to check soil moisture levels.
• If containers dry out too much, the soil may become hydrophobic. When watering, check the soil to ensure water is absorbed and not repelled by hydrophobic soil.

Watch out for slugs if you put your growbags so close together. Perfect and wet hiding spot for them. Had this with my tomatos. But yeah in the heat of the summer that might be a good idea anyway..

Hi Angela yes it is hard specially here in Bakersfield California zone 9, my peppers and tomatoes are fried, my other plants as well, I made some bottles with holes and use it for ollas cuz the original ones are expensive, thank you so much take care, I love all your videos and reels 😊👩🌾👍♥️
