Guava plant cutting and harvesting guavas #guava #harvest #guavaplant#garden #plants#trending#shorts

**Description:**
Guava (Psidium guajava) can be propagated through cuttings and requires specific care for successful growth and fruit production. To propagate guava, take semi-hardwood cuttings from a healthy, mature plant, about 4-6 inches long with several leaves. Remove the lower leaves, dip the cut end in rooting hormone, and plant in a well-drained potting mix. Keep the soil moist and place the pot in a warm, sunny location. Once rooted, transplant the young guava plant into a garden bed with full sun exposure.

For harvesting guavas, wait until the fruits are fully mature and have developed a fragrant aroma. Mature guavas change color (usually from green to yellow or slightly reddish) and should yield slightly to gentle pressure. Harvest by cutting the fruit from the branch, avoiding damage to the plant.
