Spring is definitely in the air! Some cherry trees are in full bloom, the Japanese Bush Warblers (Uguisu) have returned with their pretty songs. I gone out and bought a bunch of new garden supplies, a new grow tower and astroturf for the lower garden walkway. I’ve also bought some new cookware and have added a new twist to Haru-chan’s homemade dog food: shredded carrots. 🐶🤩👍🏾

Good day everyone! I’ve received a few messages recently that some of you haven’t been receiving notifications of my posts. I’ve spoken to YouTube Creator Support and they’ve provided some solutions:
Problems with notifications? The common reasons why a subscriber will not receive notifications.
1. They are not actually subscribed to your channel, but are confused by “Recommended video” notifications.
2. Their bell icon setting is set to “personalized” rather than “all” notifications. This resets if they unsubscribe and resubscribe.
3. Their greater YouTube notification settings are set to “None” for channel notifications.
4. They aren’t logged in.
5. Their device level notification settings are overriding their YouTube settings
Another reasons viewers may not be receiving notifications.
1. They already received the maximum number of notifications from your channel that day.

Hello Robert and Haru-chan! Another great video! Your seedlings are looking very good, and your new grow tower is very nice. It is fun to see your daily life in Kamakura, the shopping at the Home Center, the new house built, your cooking and trips to the parks, etc. The new cookware looks very nice and will come in handy when you are cooking your recipes. Making Haru-chan's food is the way to go, so that you know what is in her food. You can't always trust the dog food that is in the pet stores. Enjoyed the video! Cheers!
Do I recall correctly that you let part of the lower garden lie fallow last year? I know you have your blueberry bushes down there and there might have been a few volunteer tomatoes and such, but that is all that I remember from your previous gardening season, down there. One year runs into another, in my memory, so I could be wrong.

Can you please let us know how the carote cookware holds up. I read in a review it scratches easily, but I don't know what type of utensils the reviewer was using. I only use wooden utensils on all my cookware and have been looking at a carote set. I like the idea of detachable hsndles.

Hey Robert! My patio garden is thriving this year, all thanks to your awesome videos! I switched my plants to grow bags, and the difference is insane – they're flourishing in just a few days. Guess what? My four-year-old pineapple plant apparently craves apple slices between its leaves to bear fruit. Who would've thought? Thanks for the tips!

How do I love these vlogs! Your house always looks so cosy and welcoming. The only bit of discomfort for me was seeing again one of those automated registry machines. I had a mildly traumatic encounter with one, in a big Daiso in Nagoya and… things didn't go so smoothly. Lol. Luckily the staff was very helpful and understanding of my struggle 😅. Looking forward to see your work in the lower garden!

I like those indoor grow tents. Good for small space. I started gardening in my bedroom. One large window. I put a room divider frame around the window two feet out from wall. I hung black out curtains, which are white so at night the grow lights won't disturb me. Thinking about adding sheer curtains so the gnats are kept at bay. Although not necessary as I have learned how to prevent gnats.
You must like to cook. Do you also speak Spanish? Paella is a fun dish.
WHAT? you cook for your dogs? Amazing 🤩. I have three dogs. Except for their dog food we eat the same thing. Carrots for breakfast 😊. Pescatarin 💕
I have container garden also. I just planted strawberries under the peach tree. Organic gardener. I know this plant guilde requires a nitrogen fixer. But I only have moringa seeds and micro cloves and not sure they will fit.
Your plants are looking healthy, does the grow light come with the tent?
