My mother neglects hers and it thrives. I very carefully tended to the babies from her plant and they all died. Ugh, this one is beautiful though!

When I worked at Home Depot we would do this all the time, and at the end of the week they would make me throw out all the ones with broken pots, I totally “threw them out”…. in the back of my truck.
