They look like adult aphids to me. Could be that you had a bunch of the nymphs/larvae hiding under the leaves or near the stem, and they all molted into adults in a short period of time. It’s also possible they came from another plant If you have any nearby. If it were me, I’d take the whole plant and hose it down under the faucet to rinse off as many bugs as possible, then follow up with insecticidal soap weekly until you haven’t seen any new bugs in a while. Isolate it in the meantime and check any other plants in your house.

aphids, you take it outside, blast it off with hose water (or a sink sprayer attachment is fine if you get high enough blast power). Aphids are pretty harmless unless they are out of control on a new growth or on your flower buds.

Not an answer. I just wanted to know what orchid that is! I’ve been looking for a coraly color to add to my own collection!

That’s not happened overnight.
Those are a mix of aphids and aphid husks, almost certainly being shed from aphids on the back of your blooms.
Give it a good dousing with water outside, then pick off any hangers on.
Check twice a day for any more, think like a bug that wants to go unnoticed… where you you hide? That’s where to look.
