Plant Propagation

I got this Monstera butt cut which was well rooted in Leca, but it got really bad root rot, and this is what’s left. I’m considering chopping at the lines and trying to prop in sphagnum moss, but have never done this before. Good idea? Bad? Tips?? TIA!

I wouldn’t chop. It has more life it it just the way it is. I’ve tried sphagnum moss and pearlite. Never had any luck with it or leca but I would get it to moist. Have to be SUPER careful with that. I’m propagating Pothos sticks in pearlite now to see if I can. 😆 I’ve had houseplants, rare ones and all since before Covid. So yeah

I’d leave it as is, don’t cut.. unless those outer nodes are rotten, which they don’t appear to be..?? Chuck it into a prop box and let it do its thing!
