Hello all and thanks I'm advance for taking the time to read my post. I'm in the Northern coastal suburbs of Perth and I'm looking for ideas or suggestions for a climber or creeper to plant in this garden bed, preferably a native, to hide my ugly fence. I have already removed the plants in the bed in this photo. This part of my back yard only gets a little bit of afternoon sun so I'm really not sure.
I've been doing some research and thinking possibly a Hardenbergia, clematis or golden trumpet vine. I would like something with many flowers.
Is there anything I can do for the garden bed prior to planting to help my future plants, the soil is mainly sand with a top layer of what looks like a mix of potting mix and mulch?
Have a great weekend all and looking foward to your suggestions.

There’s nothing that’s going to climb there that isn’t also going to strangle out the palms and cordylines. You will regret putting orange trumpet there.
