I inherited this euphorbia, and I love it, but it has some problems and I'm new to this type of plant.
It had a second, equally large stem that was totally dead that I cut off a couple weeks ago. I also brought the whole thing outside while some renovations were happening. Hopefully neither of those moves were bad things to do.
As I went to bring it back in, I noticed a whole bunch of small mites. Not wanting to affect my other plants, I left it outside. But living in New England, my time is limited before it gets cold.
My questions are:
1. Tips on getting rid of mites?
2. Should I be concerned that the base of the plant is all gray and callused over?
