  1. I wished our big box stores had these sales, in Southern California we garden all throughout the year so no sales like this ever happen. It the price for living in paradise. 😊

  2. I only do container gardening and had to make potting mix for several GreenStalk planters and about 30 fabric grow bags. I went to Home Depot in my area to buy the 3 cubic feet compressed bags of peat moss. Found out HD was discontinuing carrying the peat moss and had it on clearance for $1.40 a bag. I bought several bags. That was the best find ever!

  3. Great finds! Congratulations on your haul. I definitely need to hit up Wally World and the local farm market, which is open all year round and the owners always give me killer discounts because I buy tons of stuff. Last year around this time I got 40 packets of seeds for $5 😊

  4. Great video. Going to Walmart tomorrow to check it out. Maybe to Lowes and Home Depot too. Never hurts to check them out. Thank you for the tip.👩‍🌾

  5. I wish! We are in zone 9b Cali, I never see cheap prices like that. Mulch and black cow are pretty cheap all year .

  6. Alaska fish fertilizer is one I watch for… normally $23 per gallon. I always need it in the spring.

  7. Seeds at walmart dissappear overnight by end of June, its not usually put on clearance, but thier price was cheaper than hone depot/ lowes so I will remember for next year

  8. you mentioned "going away from peat moss". do you have a vid explaining this decision? what are the pros or cons? I only dabble in gardening so if this is common knowledge I haven't caught up yet.

  9. Did you know that the Walmart brand potting soil is made by Miracle Grow? It’s the exact same thing and nearly 1/2 the price!!!

  10. Most stores don’t know when these items will be clearance priced, that’s controlled by corporate.. otherwise the employees would be snagging up everything prior to customers being aware of it…

  11. I wish the potting mixes would go on clearance here in Phoenix but since we are zone 9B and our season is about to START I guess I can only dream 🤣 I have seen some clearances at Walmart but they're not that great…usually only 20-30% off …maybe in a month or so it will be 50% off

  12. They won't tell you unless it's your Nephew that you raised, and he is the night stock manager and you have him buy it and he also gets his 20% employee discount. 😁😁😁😁 NOT saying this happened just saying it could…..LOL

  13. Wow, the Organic ProMIx and regular ProMix are a steal…they're around $18.00 and $14.00, respectively in my area (Maryland).

  14. Got woods next door and a shovel. If I needed volume, a sale like that would be prime.

  15. Here in Florida our growing season starts in September, I was at Walmart yesterday, the Promix was $20.00 in store ($15.99 if you purchase online, the cheapest I've seen it was $9.99 at end of May.

  16. This is what I do every year in early august. Home Depot and Walmart will sell soil for $2, $3 & $5. I be buying of soil for next spring. I just went to Walmart yesterday and bought a lot of irrigation accessories. They have connector, sprinklers (half & full) for 50 cents. You have to buy your garden products at the end of summer garden season not the start of it.

  17. I scored numerous brands of potting, raised bed and in ground soil from my local Walmart (SE WI) for mostly $2 to $3 a bag. It was about 3 weeks ago. I bought about 15 bags of various organic soils.

  18. Yeah in my area they have no end of season sales. It's $10 for a 28L bag., 1 cubic foot potting soil. In September! And our first frost is in October so planting season is over.
